Spring Plant Sale May 7, 2011

The Spring Plant Sale is a perennial fundraising project for Fergie’s Gardeners. Volunteers assemble a wide selection of plants, including natives, colorful annuals and perennials, shrubs and trees and offer them for sale at the Spring Farm Festival at Hard Bargain Farm .

Other garden activities at the sale include garden consultations and garden tours. Check the website for dates and times.

Upcoming! 2011 Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage May 22, 2011

Hard Bargain Farm will be one of the featured properties on the Prince George’s portion of the 2011 statewide Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage.

The Ferguson house and gardens will be open to the public. The tour will emphasize the history of Henry and Alice Ferguson,at Hard Bargain Farm, Alice L.L. Ferguson’s art and garden design during the heyday of the country place era, and the current programs at the Alice Ferguson Foundation.
